Pirate Belt
After pondering what means to be a pirate one day, Captain Black decided that a pirate's gear should reflect their adventures. It should patina and tell a tale without ever uttering a word. Thus began a search for the greatest natural veg-tanned leathers in the world. For the ultimate Pirate Belt, he decided upon two different but equally impressive leathers.
From Japan's Tochigi Tannery, he chose their Wabi Sabi leather. Renowned the world over for it's quality, Tochigi leather is simply the best of the best. It's strength, beauty and ability to patina are legendary. With time your belt will patina from a light creamy color to a gorgeous coffee color, embracing the path you take and showing the world your journeys! A firmer temper, this leather breaks in beautifully, with around only a quarter-inch of stretch over the first several weeks and will last you a lifetime at sea!
From America's Horween Tannery, the Captain decided on their incredible Essex line of vegetable tanned leathers. Starting as a lovely caramel color, these belts will patina to an almost black color, with impressive highlights and lows. A softer tempered leather, these almost feel pre-broken in, with about a half-inch to inch of stretch happening over the first few months of wear!
Both belts come with solid, natural brass hardware that will also patina over time and look absolutely gorgeous! For the belt buckle holes, the Captain decided on a teardrop shaped hole, so we never forget our fallen Brethren.

The belts come in the following sizes:
Small - Fits sizes 28-32
Medium - Fits sizes 31-36
Large - Fits sizes 34-40
Extra Large - Fits sizes 39-45
It's important to know that your jeans may add 1-2 sizes onto your actual waist size, so it's best to measure your jeans and order that size!
